1503 - Kirk Ella - The ringers hoped to be able to ring for the Queen's Silver Jubilee on 7th June, but the bells were not ready. They were, in fact, handed over 2 days later on Thursday 9th June when Paul Taylor (L), head of the foundry at Loughborough, came over with his general manager George Morley (R).

This design prepared by Ian Goldthorpe depicts the Church and many of the interesting old buildings and other features to be found in the centre of Kirk Ella which is an attractive village situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.'
